Many users are facing problem with torrent toolbar even after uninstalling "bittorrent toolbar" from control panel / add or remove programs, and in the end uninstalling bittorrent itself, Following are two easy steps:

  1. Open Google chrome
  2. Click at Wrench icone on top right side
  3. Go to Tools -> extensions
  4. Remove utoorent toolbar
  5. Also remove Conduit Engine if its there is.

Its Done !

You also need to go to my computer-c drive- program files..then you must delete conduit file and other utorrent file/s...then go back into uninstall programs in control panel and check for not only original utorrent file which would have been on the top of the list but also near the end of the list will be a utorrentcontrol v2 file .uninstall that-but has to be done after removing program files from previous...then click START search box type utorrent or bittorrent-delete all search results and also do the same for conduit---then go into recycle bin and empty it or just those files if you remember them-maybe write them down so you do-restart your computer and should be OK.. the damn program-don't share stuff- not like mum and dad taught us but its the best way-good luck

Everyone says to click the wrench and select Tools but mine doesn't have that option?! I uninstalled utorrent and the toolbar in control panel but the toolbar keeps coming back.

I do not understand why some people are so annoying and disrespectful to the users. To ask if the user wants a tool bar to be installed is a must. Yet they do not respect that choice (even if they ask if you want it and you choose not to install any. They force the installation anyways (First major violation of the users rights) . Then they do not provide the option(s) for the user to decide if, where and how it will be shown and third they do not provide you the means to remove it, if you so decide. This is in violation of the regulations and such programs are or must be banned. Google should set some standards for ?those guys? and they definitely should provide better means of user?s control, as other providers do. Chrome is not overloaded, is light and simple but?

Hey Men! This damn toolbar came back. Someone please help. I dont want to uninstall Chrome, I finally got my bookmarks all nice and organized. The instructions temporarily cleared the toolbar, but permanently removed it from the extensions.
Before all this I also uninstalled the Utorrent Toolbar.
Should I unistall Torrent and loose my downloads?
